Scott Robert LA Next Level Workshop

 

I was fortunate enough to attend Scott Robert’s Next Level 2-day workshop in LA this month.  I had only decided to go a couple weeks prior because I wanted improve my skills in the area of lighting technique.  You might think that’s crazy going all the way to LA for a 2-day workshop but believe me when I say it was worth it! What I learn on a two day workshop with Scott would take me years to learn otherwise.  I had a fantastic time and had the privilege of meeting so many great photographers from all over the US.  Here are some images I took on Day 1  (day 2 was learning Photoshop, Lightroom and album design techniques).

Periods of doubt never phased what was always there and with times of searching I came back stronger than before with ever growing determination and spirit, refocusing, to concentrate solely on my joy in life. Photography.

 

Welcome everyone, to my journal.  Here you will be able to see all my latest work, my life as a professional photographer, hints and tips, and so much more.  But more than anything I really want this journal to be an opportunity for people to get to know me, so that if I ever have the pleasure of working for you it will be as a friend rather than just another photographer.

 

So, where do I start, well my journey so far has been littered with the many obstacles life will throw at you but I believe there is always something waiting around the corner that wil shake your foundation, wake you up and let you see the light.  For me that something was 5 days in Paris with one of the world’s top wedding photographers Scott Robert and a network of photographers from the US and UK. 

 

I can’t think of a better place to start so here’s some of the imagery I came back with, enjoy…

Paris was an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget. In just five days I was given the tools to raise the standard of my photography to new heights and being around other like-minded photographers was just fantastic, I learnt so much from everyone.  For all those photographers who weren’t with us in Paris, the best investment you’ll ever make is investment in yourself so make sure you don’t miss out the next time Scott does a workshop, you’ll have an amazing time and learn so much.  For details of future workshops visit www.scottrobertnextlevel.com
